Valley Fun Fact

Tarzana is named after Tarzan, the adventurous, vine-swinging creation of author Edgar Rice Burroughs. Burroughs bought the land in 1915 from the founder of The Los Angeles Times and named it of course after his favorite character. Burroughs later subdivided and sold much of the land we still call Tarzana.
